Its name “Watercolor“, is derived from the emerald-green hue of the water, which is a result of the sand – made of pure Appalachian quartz – reflecting the sunlight through the surf. With so many amenities, this resort area is located on the northwest coastline of the Gulf of Mexico in the Florida panhandle. Have you ever wondered why this area is called the “panhandle” of Florida? Could it be that if you look at the state of Florida, it has a sliver of land to the west that looks – like the handle of a pan!! LOL
There are four fabulous places to grab a quick bite, relax with friends or enjoy a luscious meal. The resort offers beach bonfires that are available March–January, including beach chairs, s’mores, and bottled waters for up to 30 people. Bonfires take place on the beach at the bottom of the West Boardwalk, which is adjacent to the WaterColor Beach Club and Mid Boardwalk, located on the east side of the WaterColor Inn.

Voted the town with the “Best Aesthetic”, Alys Beach, located on Highway 30A along the northwest Florida panhandle, begins with sheer beauty. The bone-white beaches and the turquoise Gulf of Mexico play off bright-white buildings with exotic lines.
MORNING COFFEE at Fonville Press where they pour terrific coffee, sell books and newspapers, and have such an inviting courtyard, so inviting you won’t want to leave!
ALYS BEACH features a 1,500-foot-long strip of sand so pristine, you’ll have a hard time convincing yourself every morning that it’s where you actually live or own a second home.
But there’s more to this development along Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A, Alys Beach’s explicitly green design features streets of permeable pavers that run perpendicular to the Gulf. The landscapes are of largely drought-resistant plants to reduce water consumption.
In Alys Beach escaping is an art form and enjoying the relaxed coastal lifestyle is a way of life. Within the beauty and serenity of Alys Beach, there are many options to play, relax, reconnect, dine, and embrace a healthy, active lifestyle.
My team and I are a highly skilled, knowledgeable, energetic sales group who utilize a “clients first” approach in our real estate business. This approach has elevated us in being ranked in the top producing .05% of all realtors on the east side of 30A for the last eight years. We focus our efforts specific to 30A and the luxury, high-end segment of the market.
Feel free to contact us when you are ready to live or own a second home in Alys Beach.

This past January was Seaside’s 35th Anniversary! It may be difficult to remember the days when County Road 30A wasn’t packed with summer homes. But there was a time, a few decades ago when it was just sand and beautiful water. Monica Market and Bud & Alley’s were in the middle of it all, and they are still here!
The idea of Seaside started in 1981 with the notion of reviving Northwest Florida’s building tradition, wood frame cottages, sleeping porches and lots of windows for cross ventilation. A sensible beach town that would have all the neccessities and pleasures of daily existence within walking distance of one’s residence.
Robert Davis, Seaside founder said, “we just wanted to create a place for people who want to share time and not just let time rush by.” Today downtown Seaside incorporates an array of delightful restaurants and interesting shops. Now there are more than 480 homes, many of which are available for rent.
Whether it is for a weekend, a week, or a lifetime, Seaside must be savored long enough to let time slow down and allow cares to float away on the beautiful blue-green water.

Coastal Living editors love this area! They actually featured Seaside on their first magazine cover nearly 20 years ago. They have been featuring this area’s shopping, dining, events, and beaches ever since. Did you know that Florida has the most subscribers to Coastal Living than any other state. So if you chance to pick up the December issue, you will find articles about Florida wildlife, collectibles, recipes and great Florida inspired Christmas decor. Especially the article called “Blue Christmas” which features a lovely beach home in Inlet Beach! (I know it’s a little late, but there’s always next year!)
The magazine is truly a fan of 30A beaches. From one end of 30A to the other, you will find the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Personal Assistant to Mike Matz, Broker/Owner of Luxury Properties on 30A
It’s gorgeous, modern and very upscale, Inlet Beach has blossomed into one of the fastest growing areas at the eastern end of scenic 30A! I remember when I first discovered Inlet Beach, it was so small that if you blinked ~ you missed it! Just a handful of old traditional Florida cottages, you know, the ones that were painted sea foam green and made out of concrete blocks!
Now most of those are gone, even the little pine cottage that used to stand where ‘30Avenue’ is now. The development was a slow one and in my opinion, they’re doing a spectacular job.
Inlet Beach is located between Rosemary Beach and Panama City Beach just east of Scenic Highway 30A and on the Gulf of Mexico. It has the largest public beach access in South Walton. One of the few places one can watch the sun rise and set all from your beach chair. Come explore Inlet Beach, you will be amazed.
